Dive Rite’s RX10 LED Dive Light Gets Brighter
(DiverWire) Dive Rite’s RX series of LED dive lights are well known for their reliability and durability underwater. The RX10 Slimline LED and RX10 Sidemount LED have proven to be the best yet for performance and were recently improved to be even brighter by incorporating electronics made in the USA.
“We have worked to make sure every aspect of the RX10 light is made in the USA, including the electronics and mounting board,” states Dive Rite CEO, Lamar Hires. “In this latest advancement, our electronics engineer improved the output by designing our own board which has made the light visibly brighter, with a new system lumen output of 1,000 and an average LUX rating of 11,000 at one meter.”
Incredibly bright with a tight, fixed focus beam, the RX light utilizes an intelligent microprocessor control unit to keep the light operating at peak efficiency. This smart controller monitors the battery voltage, alerts the diver to low battery upon turn on and monitors temperature for device protection. The RX10 employs a CREE® XLamp® LED with a system lumen rating of 1000 lumens. Designed for technical diving, the RX10 sports a tight 10-degree beam that is useful for signaling, yet covers enough area to illuminate the surrounding environment for better awareness as well as viewing pleasure.
“As a part of Dive Rite’s standard quality control, every RX10 light is measured prior to assembly and afterward to ensure peak performance as well as reliability,” says Lamar. “We just want everyone to know that we are always moving forward with our product design.”
