In addition to artificial reefs being a crucial ecosystem building block, the creation of Formula H2O, using ship wrecks as race tracks, has developed a new recreational demand for these reefs. Formula H2O and the artificial reefs are not just for the racers, spectators of all ages, divers and snorkelers, are encouraged to come join in the action.
