Cathy Church Photo Fest returns to Sunset House Grand Cayman

(DiverWire) The Cathy Church Photo Fest at Sunset House is back by popular demand, and the spaces are filling fast.  Don’t miss out on the fun and festivities on Grand Cayman May 11 – 18, 2013.

What makes Cathy’s events so special?? Cathy is a photographer and she knows what you want – bottom time, bottom time and more bottom time on sites that are pretty, interesting, fun, and photogenic. On the shallow dive days, you can stay down for OVER TWO HOURS!! Even on days when there is a stunning wall dive, you can use your computer and your nitrox to get maximum time for the wall dive and often 90 minutes on the shallow second dive. You can dive, shoot, come up when you get low on air, get some water or fruit while your tank is being changed (you don’t even have to get out of the water). Then go back down and shoot some more.

A photo coach will be in the water to help find subjects and answer questions.

The price is only $2,099.00 for the hotel, diving and photo fest events and includes lots of extras like breakfast, a BBQ dinner, lectures with Cathy and her staff, critiques, lots of giveaways, prizes and fun.

There are separate photo contests for each level. Submit your very worst photo for a really special prize.

Lectures by Cathy and her knowledgeable staff are fun and informative. Lecture topics are adjusted to fit the group needs. Cathy offers lessons for beginners who are just getting started, and advanced photographers who are ready for multiple lighting. Emmy award winning video editor Tony Mark teaches video and video editing. Or, you can take a class in using photo shop, and much more.

Critiques will never make you cry, no matter how your photos turned out. They are designed to help you grow, not to make you feel bad!! And when you get your best photo ever, you will get plenty of applause.
