Rancho Santa Margarita, CA – 30 June 2009 -- Following the outstanding success of its unique Dive-Chek® service, the PADI organization is launching a revision of the popular Pro Chek™ tool. Now, industry professionals and dive consumers alike can easily verify PADI membership status 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Users can now access PADI Pro Chek via the Quality Management and Consumer Alerts pages at padi.com. Upon entering the required PADI Member number, Pro Chek will display the member’s name, highest professional PADI certification, teaching status and member renewal year. Pro Chek’s new icon system also makes it easy to determine if PADI Professionals are currently authorized to teach.
